Friends of Innisfree

From the greens to the greenery

THIS YEAR OUR support organisation, the Friends of Innisfree, funded a project with Groundwork in the communal gardens at Mowbray Road, Willesden, and Brook Road, in Dollis Hill. Tenants and volunteers worked together to achieve major improvements.

The annual golf event, on the wettest day of July, still raised over £4000 for the fund. Staff, helpers and, above all, the golfers are thanked for their gritty support in terrible conditions.

Money raised by the Friends enables us to help some of our most vulnerable tenants with grants when no other funding is available.

It also means they can do some of those important life-enhancing things such as gardening. We thank our Friends, as always.
