Allotment cleared

We’re making great progress in getting the allotment space ready for use. The fair weather over the pas few days has helped, so we’re hoping to have some plots ready to use before the end of March. The allotment is muddy, overgrown and pretty neglected. But today work has started to clear the scrub and set up the newly arrived compost bins. Allotment project takes off!

Innisfree have just signed a tenancy agreement with Brent Council’s Parks Service to manage an allotment in North Wembley. We are usually asking other people to sign our tenancy agreements, so this is a new venture. We aim to offer this space to tenants and enlist the help of experienced volunteers to start growing fruit and vegetables. Innisfree to host innovative cultural event in February

Tenants and friends of Innisfree are looking forward to a visit from performers of the Fifth Province Productions as part of their 2013 tour. Innisfree were delighted to receive a donation from the Sisters of the Holy Family of Bordeaux based in West Hampstead Early in this new year, we are planning a special series of events with a spiritual aspect at our sheltered housing scheme, Clochar Court. Move-on training is a success!

Tenants have recently completed a successful Move-on training programme in December and created their own Facebook page. Funding award from Concertina Charitable Trust

We are pleased to announce that The Concertina Charitable Trust have awarded Innisfree £100 to hold a musical event. We will plan an event in the early New Year for tenants and visitors to our sheltered housing scheme Clochar Court in Harlesden. I Only Came Over For Six Months – An Irish emigrants story
