We want residents to have opportunities to tell us what they think about the policies, services and proposals that affect them.
We use resident consultations to gather views before relevant decisions are finalised.
This page explains how we consult residents, how you can take part, and the outcomes of our consultations.
See the bottom of this page for current consultations.
When we consult residents, we will explain what we are asking for views about and provide the relevant information for residents to consider. For consultations relevant to our wider resident population, we contact residents who have told us they would like to take part in resident engagement.
We may also advertise consultation opportunities through our resident communications, including our newsletters, so that other residents have an opportunity to participate. Residents can read the relevant information and tell us what they think by email or telephone.
We consider the feedback received before the relevant proposal, policy or decision is finalised.

We also use resident communications, including our newsletter, to let residents know about opportunities to give us their views.
Current consultation opportunities will also be published on this page. Our Involved Residents Group gives residents an opportunity to engage more regularly with Innisfree. To register your interest, email residentengagement@innisfree.org.uk

When a consultation closes, we consider the responses we have received before the relevant policy, proposal or decision is finalised.

Consultation does not necessarily mean that every suggestion can be adopted. Where we do not make a suggested change, there may be operational, financial, legal, regulatory or other reasons for this.
Where appropriate, we will explain the outcome of the consultation and how resident feedback was considered.
Consultation is one way that residents can influence Innisfree’s work. The feedback received is considered alongside other relevant information, which may include:
Depending on the subject, the final proposal may then be considered through Innisfree’s management or governance arrangements.
