Our resident forums and meetings give residents opportunities to talk to us about their homes, neighbourhoods and the services we provide.
They help us understand what matters to residents locally, discuss issues directly and identify things that may need attention or improvement.
This page explains how our resident meetings work and provides information about meetings and the issues discussed.
To find out more about upcoming meetings, email residentengagement@innisfree.org.uk
We hold local resident forums to give residents an opportunity to discuss issues affecting their block, estate or local community. Forums provide an opportunity to:
The subjects discussed will vary because forums are intended to reflect the priorities of residents in that area.
To ask about your local resident forum, email residentengagement@innisfree.org.uk
Before local forums, we ask residents what matters to them and what they would like to discuss. Depending on the issues residents raise, topics could include:
We also ask residents for ideas about improvements they would like to see and practical suggestions for making their local area better.
This helps us focus the meeting on the issues that matter to residents.
Before a local resident forum, we may contact residents and ask them to tell us about the issues they would like discussed.
You can tell us:
We use this information to help identify the priorities and topics for the meeting.
You can still raise relevant issues at the meeting even if you have not provided feedback beforehand.
We hold resident forums to give residents opportunities to discuss issues affecting their homes, blocks, estates and communities.
Before local forums, we ask residents what matters to them and which issues they would like to discuss. This helps us shape the meeting around local priorities. Topics might include repairs, communal cleaning, estate management, antisocial behaviour, safety, waste and recycling, parking or other issues residents want to raise.
After meetings, we want residents to be able to see the issues raised and what action has been agreed or taken.
To find out more, email residentengagement@innisfree.org.uk
Residents will be contacted when a local forum is being arranged for their block, estate or area.
The invitation will provide information about the meeting, including when and where it will take place and how residents can participate.
Upcoming meeting information may also be published on this page where appropriate. To ask about upcoming meetings, email residentengagement@innisfree.org.uk
Resident forums are intended to help identify local issues and actions, not simply provide a place to raise concerns.
Where actions or outcomes are recorded following a meeting, we will update residents on what was discussed and what happened next, where we are able to.
We will not publish personal information about individual residents or information that it would be inappropriate to disclose.
Our Involved Residents Group provides another opportunity for residents to meet with Innisfree and discuss our services. These meetings may cover wider Innisfree services and priorities rather than issues affecting one particular block or estate.
Residents taking part may have opportunities to:
You do not need to wait for a resident forum to tell us about a problem. If you need to report a repair, antisocial behaviour or another issue affecting your home or tenancy, please use the relevant service rather than waiting for the next meeting.
Resident forums can help identify wider or recurring issues, but they do not replace our normal reporting and complaints processes.
If you cannot attend a local forum but have something you would like raised, please contact us. Where possible, you can provide your views or tell us about an issue before the meeting. If you need communication support or a reasonable adjustment to participate in an engagement activity, please let us know by emailing residentengagement@innisfree.org.uk
The information residents provide through forums helps us understand local experiences and priorities.
Depending on what is raised, feedback may lead to:
Not every issue can necessarily be resolved through a resident forum, but we will consider the information residents provide and identify appropriate next steps where needed.
Where we publish a meeting outcome, we will aim to keep the issue and response together so residents can see what was raised and what happened next.
Tell us what you would like to discuss by emailing residentengagement@innisfree.org.uk
